Design Star at Brighton is led by Damon Taylor who is a design theorist and cultural historian.

His career background has been alongside practitioners and design professionals. Richard Bibb, Loughborough University

Professor Richard Bibb is Professor of Medical Applications of Design and Associate Dean Research at Loughborough Design School, Loughborough University. His main research interests are effective application of advanced design and ‎product development technologies in medicine, healthcare, surgery and rehabilitation. Professor Eric Kindel is Head of the Department of Typography & Graphic Communication at the University of Reading.
