Darren Newbury is Professor of Photographic History in the School of Humanities and Social Science, and a Director of Doctoral Studies in the Doctoral College, at the University of Brighton. Professor Richard Bibb is Professor of Medical Applications of Design and Associate Dean Research at Loughborough Design School, Loughborough University. His main research interests are effective application of advanced design and ‎product development technologies in medicine, healthcare, surgery and rehabilitation.
